- Officials’ Initial Certification Clinic: (11/27/2006) There will be a swim officials’ initial certification clinic on Sunday, December 17, 2006 starting at 1:30 PM in Cedar Rapids, IA at the Coe College pool. This is the first step to becoming a certified Iowa Swimming swim official. The clinic will run between 2 to 3 hours. The clinic fee is $5.00. Becoming a swim official is an excellent way to learn more about competitive swimming and to support our kids’ sport. This is the first step to becoming a certified Iowa Swimming swim official. The clinic will run between 2 to 3 hours. The clinic fee is $5.00.
