John Lorimer
CEO/ Sr. Engineer
John Lorimer is the CEO and founder of Lorimer Network Research. He has a BS in Geophysical Engineering specializing in Mining Geophysics and Computer Science. His career spans the Geothermal and Oil Exploration world and was the Director of Information Technology of Plains Petroleum. John then moved on to the Technology field becoming the Director of Information Technology for Neologics. He was approached by The Root Group of Boulder Colorado to take the lead position in the company for a new division and ended there as the Principal Architect. He founded Lorimer Network Research in 1995 as a web hosting company and when the technology crash happened in 2001 moved his team from the Root Group to Lornet. In 2004 John moved the company to Ouray County as he saw a need for good quality technology services in the region. He currently serves on the Ouray Community Assessment panel for Economic Diversity and also is on the Governor’s Technology Round Table for Western Colorado. As part of the community services he strongly believes in he started the KURA Ask A Tech radio program to help the community better understand technology and how to be it’s master not it’s slave.

Dustin Ficco
Office Manager
Dustin is a native of Ouray Colorado and truly enjoys all of the exciting outdoor adventures the breathtaking mountains have to offer. Jeeping, hiking and camping are few of his favorite hobbies. He is currently finishing up his degree in public accounting with the University of Phoenix. Dustin is very passionate about business and enjoys the challenges that are associated within the industry. With over five years experience in bookkeeping and business, Dustin knows the importance of building strong and long-lasting customer relationships. He has also had four plus years experience in the IT sector and commonly works with networks whenever possible. Dustin has a great passion for working with technology and has been doing so since he was old enough to walk.

Kevin Kempton
Engineer
Kevin is a degreed computer scientist from Mesa State College and loves the challenges provided by the IT Industry. Competencies include Microsoft Servers, Desktops and Desktop Applications. He also has a love for networks and is pretty sharp at wireless network design. He also has fairly deep printer skills and also programs applications. He is a general technology/electronics buff. His current interests are in network design and infrastructure. He also like to help where ever he can and work towards understanding the greater system in place. Kevin is a very hard worker and make it his responsibility to understand any task directed towards him. Kevin is very good at problem solving and finds it very exciting to determine the variables restricting the proper functionality of any system.

Scott Campbell
Engineer
Born in Albuquerque, Scott Campbell first worked in Ouray County back in 1978 as a rafting guide. He went on to spend six years serving active duty in the US Navy as a Cryptologic Technician (Maintenance) servicing really old communications equipment and computers. In the civilian world, he has worked for Wang Laboratories as a field service engineer, for the Air Force weapons laboratory as a database administrator, for MCI as a systems engineer, Sandia National Laboratories as an IT consultant, and PNM Resources as an IT manager. Recently, Scott purchased and now runs, the Ouray Riverside Inn in beautiful Ouray, Colorado.
